Monsieur - They call him Monsieur, and he commands all the respect the name implies. And obedience. And treats (he IS a cat, after all!). He is a little over 3 months old, bossy, cuddly by choice. He is a character to be sure and has been in foster care since the family dog brought him home at barely 2 weeks old. Marbles - My name is Marbles and I am as handsome as a cat can be. Even though humans took my marbles (I’m neutered) I still love the silly two leggers and am wonderfully patient even with kids. Momma cat and kittens - This tiny girl was in the bale yard and we couldn't believe she was pregnant. Brought her in and put her in a kennel and this morning she went into labor and has 5 tiny babies. She is tame so must have been dropped off

Rhea - This beautiful little nursing mom was brought to Greenview pound by local bylaw. There were four kittens with her, and though she was feeding and tending to all 4, it was obvious that some of the kittens were not hers. One kitten was about 4 weeks old. Another (that you see tucked between her front legs) looks maybe 3 weeks old. And if you look carefully you can see two little heads snuggled into her tummy by her back leg; they are tiny, their eyes aren’t even open yet, guessing maybe a week old. and we don’t know which of the kittens were born to her, but it doesn’t matter. Rhea cares for them all. Rhea herself is probably the smallest momma cat I’ve ever seen. I would be very surprised if she was more than 6 months old. She is extremely thin and definitely needs some tlc, but when you go to pet her, she puts her head into the cup of your palm, closes her eyes and purrs. Beyond sweet. Rhea is with Cheryl B.
